Fashion Show

Hey! My placement is finished, and now it is time to do RGU Fashion Management's annual Fashion Show.

This year the theme is World of Colour, and the charity we are raising money for is MND Scotland.

Here is our logo and an advertisement for model casting. These were created by the Marketing and Communication team. They've done such a great job!

Buying Trip to Glasgow!

I was lucky enough to be taken down with Claire and Belinda to Glasgow, to visit Group Zanier and Children World Wide Fashion agents to buy for Autumn/ Winter 13!

I was really excited and didn't know what to expect, it seemed like it would be really fun...

It really was! but far more stressful than i thought it would be! Innocence is still a new company so they don't have that much historical data to use when making buying decisions for seasons, and also i'd just started, and had just started learning about their target market so i learned a lot about them through the buying decisions of Claire and Belinda.

With Group Zanier, i saw Eliane et Lena and Catamini, and with CWF  i visited Timberland  and also the new brand Billie Blush. 

After... we visited Morplan to buy some things to make the shop look good! Here's a cheeky picture of Bel and a mannequin...

Hi! So i have been doing my 6 week placement with Innocence Children's Ltd Aberdeen.

Innocence is owned and directed by two friends, Belinda and Claire. They have made my placement so enjoyable! Like me they are learning about the industry, and like to be creative with their work.

A bit about Innocence. The business is around 18 months old, and homes brands like Lilly & Sid, Catamini, Timberland and Mayoral for children 0-5 years old. It also stocks gifts from BamBam and other popular brands.

Throughout my placement i'll be learning how to manage my own business, as well as providing my knowledge of social media to improve the way they utilize it.

Window Displays!

Hi! So my 6 week placement at Innocence Aberdeen has meant I've been doing lots of fun things!

Visually merchandising is one of them, here are my Valentines, Catamini Spring, and White windows!

Innocence is located on Thistle Street in Aberdeen, and has a long narrow window, so merchandising it was quite difficult!

Valentines Day Window!

An event theme is always a great window display! 

Catamini Dresses, Cardigan, leggings, and AMAZING mac! 

Sofia Rose Bowtique, a local business too, Laura who runs the company makes and sells bows, and tutu bags!

White Window!

The White Window showing some of the shop offerings! such as the gorgeous Absorba dress and baby grow! A selection of hand made cards, and other gifts!
